Yoshi's New Island (3DS)
Bij ons. Geestelijke opvolger van SNES Yoshi's Island. Door critici gemiddeld ontvangen — gameplay is solide, art-stijl was teleurstelling t.o.v. de SNES sketchy-aesthetic. Voor 3DS-bezitters die alle Mario-spinoffs willen: prima invulling.
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (3DS)
Bij ons. 3DS-port van Wii U Woolly World, met extra Poochy-content. Wollen aesthetic is geweldig (alles is breiwerk). Familievriendelijk, multiplayer co-op via 2 systemen, perfect voor ouders met jonge kinderen. Niet bekritiseerd om Poochy als easy-mode mascotte — voor casual spelers is het juist plezant.
Volgorde — moet je in volgorde spelen?
Nee. Yoshi-games staan los van elkaar. Geen continuïteit in verhaal of personages. Je kunt elke game als startpunt nemen.

Wat te checken bij tweedehands aankoop
- Cartridge label — Yoshi's Island DS wordt soms nagemaakt vanwege populariteit. Originele cartridge heeft Nintendo-zegel embossed.
- Save battery — Yoshi's Story (N64) gebruikt batterij — kan na 20+ jaar leeg zijn. Save lukt nog wel maar je kunt niet rusten en weer komen. Vervangen kost Lees onze battery-vervang gids.
- 3DS games — interne flash-storage, geen battery-zorgen.
- GBC Mario & Yoshi — print-stickers worden door tijd vaag. Niet zorgwekkend voor gameplay.

Wat is het verschil tussen Yoshi's Woolly World en Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World?
Hetzelfde basis-spel. 3DS-versie heeft Poochy als secundair speelbaar personage, extra mini-levels, en Mellow-easy-mode toggle. Geen 3D-effect (Yoshi's New 3DS-only feature toegevoegd; oorspronkelijke 3DS speelt zonder 3D).
Welke is moeilijkste / makkelijkste?
Moeilijkst: Yoshi's Island DS (door fans bekend om hoge frustratiedrempel). Makkelijkst: Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World met Mellow-mode = vrijwel onmogelijk te falen.
